Role Purpose
Applies Project knowledge, Engineering knowledge and experience to coordinate the engineering and design for the facilities of an FPSO project and to support the fabrication, installation, commissioning and startup of facilities and equipment/ utilities interface associated with the FPSO.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate with the engineering disciplines assigned to the project and work closely with project management, procurement, HSE, QA/QC, operations and construction team and meet or where possible to exceed on time deliverables maintaining the quality and safety in each activity. Shall be capable of deputizing for the Engineering Manager whenever required
- Must understand company goals and implement management directive and policies
- Support Engineering Manager and project management in review, risk assessment and close-out of engineering issues. Ensure compliance with specific attention to change management and deviation approval process
- Independently develops solutions to non-recurring problems by analyzing, interpreting and evaluating various precedents and data. Anticipate potential problems and takes preventive actions
- Support Engineering Manager in managing schedule & targets and identify right kind or resources to meet schedule and targets
- Approval of calculations/RFQ/Technical bid analysis if authorized by the Engineering Manager
- Participate in Project/Engineering/Vendor kick off meetings
- Day to day Planning of work and manpower
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Ship Building Engineering with 12 years working experience
- Advanced use of analysis software such as SACS, Staad.Pro, FEMAP-Nastran or other FEM softwares
