Role Purpose

  • Assist in New Office Setup: Be at the forefront of our expansion efforts by lending your expertise in setting up new offices in Malaysia.
  • Full Set Accounting Work Scope: Dive into the nitty-gritty of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial matters. Handle a full set of accounts & accounting functions to ensure accuracy & compliance with current accounting practices & principles.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts, management reports, forecasts, and budget.
  • Local Statutory and Tax Filing: Navigate the complexities of local regulations and tax requirements, ensuring full compliance and smooth operations.
  • Collaboration with Project Team: Forge strong partnerships with our operations team, working hand-in-hand to achieve our strategic objectives.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Embrace versatility by taking on various ad hoc tasks that contribute to the success of our operations.
  • Timely reconciliation of all Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss accounts with related schedules and analysis, including intercompany transactions.
  • To liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and all government and other regulatory bodies pertaining to finance, accounts and tax matters

Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Finance & Accounting

Competencies

Technical:

- At least 3 years of relevant experience,
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite
- Industry knowledge
